Telephone consultation

A free telephone consultation will take place, where your child's speech and language needs will be discussed.  

 

Initial Assessment

An initial assessment can be arranged, this usually lasts up to one hour and includes a detailed case history, formal and/or informal assessment, parental input and strategies to support your child's communication.  If reqested a report can be provided.  Assessments take place at your home, or child's educational setting.

 

Therapy

Therapy sessions last either 30 minutes or 45 minutes.  These times also include discussions with parents and/or educational staff.  The frequency of intervention can be discussed depending on your child's needs. Therapy sessions take place at your home, or child's educational setting.

 

Review Assessments

Following a block of therapy and consolidation periods a review assessment can take place. This includes formal and/or informal assessment into your child's communication skills, discussion with parents and educational setting. If requested a report can be provided.

 

Written programmes

Written programmes can be provided to support your child's communication skills at home, and nursery/school.

 

Liasion with professionals

With full parental consent, I liaise closely with all professionals involved with your child, in order to ensure that we are all working together to support your child's communication needs.
